Entitled “Paint It Black”, Dutch designers Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren’s men’s show took its cue from the infamous Rolling Stones song. Influenced by the remarkable English Rock Band, the colour palette of the collection is naturally tainted with almighty blackness; yet the attitude and the final look are true blue royal and loyal to the Amsterdam-based fashion house. Namely, each model appears like an exact replica of Mr. Horsting and Mr. Snoeren exhibiting the designers’ signature quirky and cool style.

Paint the Town A Dazzling Shade of Black in Viktor & Rolf’s Stunning Little Black Dress
Just as you think you have had enough of the little black dress, here comes another one – making its way gracefully as the cool new kid on the block in my favourite list. In many ways, this little number (EUR 785,00) by Dutch designer duo Viktor and Rolf is beyond special. Naturally, the first thing that caught our eye is the razzle-dazzling diamante element. However, the exquisite material (100% China Silk), its stunning slightly squared-off shape (around the hips) as well as its fantastic front pockets design are not to be left unsaid. Wearable may not a word directly linked to the avant-garde Designers at all times, but this simply ingenious piece certainly shows the world something different! Just stunning!
Viktor and Rolf’s short silk dress with front pockets is available at The Corner.

Viktor & Rolf Cruise 2010
I simply cannot believe I did not see Viktor & Rolf’s Resort 2010 collection earlier. I mean everything in the collection is so phenomenally beautiful that I really hope each and every piece of the collection could and would make its way to the stores. Unquestionably, it ought to!

Stoned!
Freeze and turn into a pretty stone statue in Viktor and Rolf’s sensation gear for Fall/Winter 2009/10. Well… I’m not asking you to be an inanimate doll, but rather become part of the style squad – as a symbol of eternal class and sophistication. Available at The Corner is this amazing dove grey flannel knee-length skirt (€630) and short dress (€970) from the sensational Dutch designer duo. The design of these pieces exhibits crisp lines, which artistically sculpt and delicately define the feminine shape and form – making these sand-shaded garment pieces the epitome of everlasting sensational style!

I know a sell out when I see it and Alexander McQueen’s zesty cruise 2010 collection is certainly one that belongs to that category.

It is in! Finally! I hate it that I always get this pain in my heart every time I think I missed an issue of Vogue Italia. Thank god it’s in! So what more shall I do? But to take this chance and just grab it and go straight to the counter! Credit, please!

Viktor & Rolf Spring/Summer Ready-to-wear 2009 Paris
These are my 6 favorite looks from V&R this season. The presentation is shown on line this season and I believe, once again, they have made another perfect show that not only captures today’s issues but also play around with it and show it in such an interesting way. I love the T-Shirt Shalom wears and the little black dresses are once again phenomenal.
