A collaboration between two amongst London’s sea of talents – the iconic eyewear label Cutler & Gross and the celebrated fashion label Erdem – resulted in something magnificent. With its colourful Kyoto watercolour-printed frame in classic sixties style, it looks like this edgy pair of Tomoko sunnies (£290.00) from the Spring/Summer 2010 collection is the perfect accessory to accompany me during the flamboyant season whether in the city of by the beach. Mmm… Fantastic!

Lanvin’s Carnation Revolution
A ball of fabric standing on a pin may not sound exactly like something exciting. However, given the creative treatment by Lanvin’s magnificent menswear designer Lucas Ossendrijver, magic just happens! Available in four different delightful colours – white, navy, grey and plum, Lanvin’s Fabric carnation brooch (£99.00) is simply an amazing accessory to bring an extraordinary sense of softness to a man’s tough look. Beautiful and brilliant at the same time.
Available at Harvey Nichols.

Tear & Wear Inside out

Torn tee & cardigan print top by Inside Out
Ripped and torn could look utterly unbearable and heinously hideous, if not done correctly. Thank god we have Inside out! With its exquisite eye for quality and design, the 2007-born British label totally rocks high fashion’s lavish version of the derelict look. Designed by Central St. Martins Graduates James Woolfin and Yvette White, this long sleeved T-shirt (£165.00) is our pretty pick of the pack. We just love the exuberantly eccentric print, which features an incredible image of a torn tee and cardigan. It adds flair to the look and turns this simple garment into something genuinely fantastic that deserves to be bought and worn a.s.a.p.!

You Make The Sun Shine Brighter Than Doris Day
When I first spotted Richard Nicoll’s sunny resort collection at Harvey Nichols, the ultra cool beverage of Orange Mocha Frappucino, as drunk by the four fantastic male models in the movie Zoolander (2001), immediately popped straight out of my mind. I like the warm, fuzzy and uplifting character of the collection. It truly radiates this “you make the sun shine brighter than Doris Day” character. Presented in the picture above are:
- Asymmetric Stella T-shirt dress, £335.00 at Harvey Nichols and £278 at net-a-porter
- Tri-colour tank dress, £390.00
- Giant Stella T-shirt dress, £345.00

Bloody Inspirational
When I shop Alexander McQueen, I always know I am buying something creative and utterly unique à la mode. His Keith Haring leggings (£380.00) are no exception to the above-mentioned category. The almost tattooed-like print work is indeed inspired by the graffiti meets pop art style of the iconic artist of the 20th century – Keith Haring. The overall imagery of these perfectly fitted pants brings to mind something that is wholly blood and flesh as well as themes that are personal yet unreservedly universal, as the American artist’s work often conveyed: birth, death, love, sex and war. We love these bloody red leggings, not only because they are bloody stylish and bloody cool, but also because they are truly deeply inspirational.
Available at Harvey Nichols.

Manly Flower Charms
For those of you, who think floral prints belong only to the territory of womenswear, well… think again! Gentlemen, please clean your glasses and get ready for these terrific ties from Duchamp. Decorated with a beautiful floral motif, these silk ties are the perfect accessory to add a delicate touch of nature in full bloom to your wardrobe. As American Artist Georgia O’Keeffe said, “When you take a flower in your hand and really look at it, it’s your world for the moment“. The imagery is just absolutely powerful. Presented in the picture above from left to right are: Spindle blossom tie, Thirties floral tie, Floral tie, Cut out floral tie and Floral honeycomb tie. All from Duchamp and are available at Harvey Nichols.

Dressed to Kill
Halloween is just a few days away and well… If you haven’t found the perfect pair of shoes to match your costume yet, I am at your service. Found on both net-a-porter.com and Harvey Nichols, this pair of killer heels with satin chain-embellished cross straps designed by the delightful Danish designer Camilla Skovgaard is simply one of the most to-die-for items this season! We especially love the raw energy it exudes! So quirky, so psychedelically stylish, so dressed to kill!

The Kors coat
I decided to check out the Michael Kors coat collection, mainly because I wanted to find out the price of the shocking pink coat, which I saw at Harvey Nichols. I didn’t find the coat I was after, however, I did find three other statement coats for this fall/winter. Here they are from left to right:
- MICHAEL Michael Kors Long Check Coat ($249.50 USD) – Christopher Kane, the über-creative designer from London, did work those gingham checks into his über sexy collection for Spring/Summer 2010, did he not? Well… Why not be the first to work these charming checks by trying Mr. Kors long check coat? I love the fact that it makes such a beautiful silhouette on the body. It is definitely an item that needs to be checked out at the cashier.
- MICHAEL Michael Kors Ocelot-Print Long Coat ($199.50 USD) - The flame is still burning. Ocelot print is as hot as ever.
- KORS Michael Kors Belted Puffer Coat ($450 USD) – As seen at Prada, Chanel and etc., space jackets are in! Don’t space out, grab one now!
