Canadian model Alana Zimmer wears Chloé wool sweater dress
I just adore this Chloé wool sweater dress (USD$1,385.00). I love its simplicity and how it exudes a kind of idyllic beauty through its feline form and understated design. Made in Italy, every inch of this gray ribbed merino wool dress – from its simple half sleeves, its wonderful waffle-knit cuffs detail to its beautiful Ballerina neckline with multicolor diamond-shaped beading – is simply divine. Without a doubt, this pretty grey dress would be a great buy of pre-fall 2010 till the day I hit the graves.

Belgian model Hanne Gaby Odiele wears Helmut Lang's Puckered lace detail dress.
Last month, we wrote about Helmut Lang’s exquisite Puckered Lace-Detail Dress ($425.00) available at Barneys, net-a-porter, La Garçonne, shopbop and Saks Fifth Avenue. Just as we thought we have included all the retailers of this drop dead gorgeous dress in the never-ending list, here comes one we have somehow missed: Neiman Marcus. Helmut Lang's Lovely Lace Dress
There are times when I have told myself not to blog about black dresses anymore – no matter how short, how little, how cool and pretty they are. However, when I spotted Helmut Lang’s Puckered Lace Dress (USD$425.00), I just could not resist. I had to break this rule – immediately! With its romantic draping and delicate lace detailing, this fitted asymmetric dress is simply a unique party must-have. Graceful and gorgeous regardless of which angle you see it through.

Spring to life in Bruuns Bazaar's dresses.
As spring commences to go into full swing, it’s certainly time for us to pack away our big woolly winter knits and load our wardrobes with some fresh new springtastic clothes. Bruuns Bazaar, the Danish label established by brothers Teis and Bjørn Bruun, opened its first store in Asia last month. We took the courtesy to check out its nature-inspired minimalist store in Hong Kong and found some of the most beautiful dresses that reflects a warm spirit, full of the joys of spring – pretty and perfect for the season. Russian model Maria Kashleva wears Viktor and Rolf's short taffeta dress
Just as you think you have had enough of the little black dress, here comes another one – making its way gracefully as the cool new kid on the block in my favourite list. In many ways, this little number (EUR 785,00) by Dutch designer duo Viktor and Rolf is beyond special. Naturally, the first thing that caught our eye is the razzle-dazzling diamante element. However, the exquisite material (100% China Silk), its stunning slightly squared-off shape (around the hips) as well as its fantastic front pockets design are not to be left unsaid. Wearable may not a word directly linked to the avant-garde Designers at all times, but this simply ingenious piece certainly shows the world something different! Just stunning!

RM by Roland Mouret Capsule Collection for Lane Crawford
Sunday, 14th February 2010 is a special day. Not only is it a day to celebrate the lunar New Year for Chinese residing all over the world, but also Valentine’s Day – a time to express our love for our special someone. To commemorate this significant day, how else to dress than in bold vivacious shades of red and fuchsia – the very symbolic colour of romance in Western Culture as well as the colour of luck, fortune and happiness in traditional Chinese culture? Reading my mind on that special thought is the designer Roland Mouret, who has created the Limited Edition RM by Roland Mouret Capsule Collection for what else but our favourite department store – Lane Crawford!

Alexander McQueen for Lane Crawford's must have scarf
If you have me on your twitter, you may already know that I am guilty of cleaning out the entire Luella store of last season stock, last last season stock and prehistoric stock; and am thereby, banned from shopping anywhere online and offline this month. However, I am glad to announce that my quota for February is still wide open. One item that I am eager to snatch off the rack as soon as it touches the shelf is Alexander McQueen’s exclusive collection for Lane Crawford – due to arrive on the very first of February (that’s just tomorrow!!!)!
