The X File of Yulya X's Fashion World

It has only been circa one week since this madness began and quite frankly, this matter is a complete madness of its own with totally mad consequences.

What I am referring to are those monstrous billboard with ads of Matthew Williamson’s capsule collection for H&M 2009.

Honestly, I do not have anything against Mr. Williamson doing a capsule collection for you, other than the fact that I think:
1) his line is too expensive.
2) the ads may cause all sorts of misfortune or otherwise known as “accidents”.

The problem, for me, is just that every third poster I see is H&M – either Mr. Williamson looking his best and gazing through me lovingly or Ms. Werbowy, complete with her perfect body, looking ever so sexy in Mr. Williamson’s alluring summer gear. Everywhere I look, my gaze is always on Ms. Werbowy and her impossible body; and when I try to look away, somehow my gaze always return to Ms. Werbowy, like my eyes belong to her, if that even makes sense.

Why do you have to buy out every third billboard space?

I could see you are really hoping this would sell out amidst recession. But my point is just that, if you have that much money to spend, should you not return some of the profit to a charity or other worldly good deeds instead of purely playing so devilishly with my mind. Maybe you could send some profit from this collaboration back to the community?

Just a thought to make me feel less bad.
