Bruuns Bazaar's new force for Fall 2010
Could this be true? Dansk Daily recently released a pic of Bruuns Bazaar’s Fall/Winter 2010/11 Ad campaign and guess what? Our favourite Bruuns Bazaar models – Carmen Kass and Mathias Lauridsen – are missing. I mean Carmen had been in the Danish label’s ad campaign since 2007 and Mathias since Fall 2008 (see here). Ever since then, these two had been inseparable as Bruuns Bazaar’s perfect couple. Well… On the one hand, we are missing this heaven made match, yet we are really enjoying this pic of Anna Selezneva with Adrian Bosch. Fresh and romantic, it captures morning beauty so extraordinarily! This could certainly be the commencement of a brand new spark and we certainly cannot wait to see more!

Gorgeous Greatness from Givenchy
If it’s not because of Russian model Anna Selezneva, I would have totally missed this hidden treasure and above all, important detail from the stylish French fashion house Givenchy: an extra strap, which goes around the heel of those gorgeous Holly strappy leather sandals (Above right £717.39) to make them truly exceptionally extraordinary. Well… Need I say more? Hardcore glamour has never been more explicitly expressed. Browsing on net-a-porter later on, my two eyes separated paranormally, as if I have landed in an extraterrestrial cyberspace, when I sighted the 8th and 9th wonder of the world. Instantaneously, one eye was glued to those lovely Bianco leather boots (Above left £652.17) and the other fixed on the extravagant choice: an exquisite pair of leather crocodile-print sandals (Above middle £717.39). Well… Obviously, in order to keep me sane at all times, these three pairs are absolute essentials! Available at net-a-porter now.

Natasha Poly, Magdalena Frackowiak and Anna Selezneva in Alexander Wang
Honestly, when Alexander Wang, the 25-year-old designer, first became officially established, I never really felt that he was up for the title. Due to his youthful appearance, I always felt that he might not be a serious designer; but I was so wrong. He is just truly talented. What a visionary? The real turning point for me was when I watched one of his interviews at saksfifthavenue.com, which really demonstrated his true passion for the clothes he creates and that really made me believe in him. I appreciate his work even more now that I know more about his aesthetics and I fully understand why Freja is all “Ja! Ja!” for his clothes.

Erin Wasson, Raquel Zimmermann and Anna Selezneva in Isabel Marant
When I first heard of the label “Isabel Marant”, it was out of delight from a Slovenien friend, who has just purchased an exquisite skirt at an enchanting discounted price online. While I was thinking on the lines of “WTF is this?”, I hid my primitive and obnoxious doubts next to the bread crumbs and dirt on the keyboard and replied in the tones of absolute jealousy. I am so sick of other designers abiding strictly and almost passionately by the current trends instead of experimenting with the new. After all, not selling well is one of the nightmares in the industry, especially under this environment, but selling your creative soul to the devil is simply not the solution.
