Cheap Monday's Tamy Skirt
Never in my crazy dreams have I ever imagined that Seibu would one day become one of my favourite department stores to splurge. Well… Perhaps its the modest logo and/or the rather masculine company name. I am just not particularly addicted to it as much as some of the others extravagant shops in the market. Nevertheless, I guess what matters the most is what they stock, its quality and most importantly, the price.
Since sales have became a non-existent subject matter at most of my favourite stores at this time of the year, I had been sober… until strolling randomly on the streets, I found out that Seibu was still celebrating a merry time with final sales. As a result of this, I gained immediate strength and became a super vicious being knocking over some a couple of a few dating couples to grab all that pleases my eyes.

American model Shelby Keeton in Zeki Triko’s Sizzling Swimwear.
For 2009, Turkish designer Ziko Başeskioğlu presents his signature super streamlined and super sexy swimwear collection for his swimwear and lingerie label Zeki Triko. Vibrant colours and seductive cuts are on display under the lens of Australian photographer and director Daniela Federici. Infusing a touch of the natural with the artificial, the collection features bold graphic prints (stylised floral patterns, retro graphics and bold blocks of colours) adorned by metallic deco as well as sparkling Swarovski crystals. The resulting look, as revealed by American model Shelby Keeton’s all alluring poses, is contemporary yet fresh and free of all the complexity in modern life.

Russian model Maria Kashleva wears Viktor and Rolf's short taffeta dress
Just as you think you have had enough of the little black dress, here comes another one – making its way gracefully as the cool new kid on the block in my favourite list. In many ways, this little number (EUR 785,00) by Dutch designer duo Viktor and Rolf is beyond special. Naturally, the first thing that caught our eye is the razzle-dazzling diamante element. However, the exquisite material (100% China Silk), its stunning slightly squared-off shape (around the hips) as well as its fantastic front pockets design are not to be left unsaid. Wearable may not a word directly linked to the avant-garde Designers at all times, but this simply ingenious piece certainly shows the world something different! Just stunning!
Viktor and Rolf’s short silk dress with front pockets is available at The Corner.

Bowlerhat
Estonian model Olga Serova turns up the heat by playing the ultimate seductress showing off the most-wanted La Perla Black Label gear in the Italian brand’s Ad Campaign for 2009. The collection features a sizzling load of pieces, which plays along to the luxurious and fashionable lingerie label’s values and principles – original, authentic, edgy and always pushing the boundaries. For 2009, the look of the season carries different moods and vibes that are both surprising and intriguing: red light, night club, bowlerhat, lipstick, cabaret and money money. With no doubt, the decision to take home the entire collection is the ultimate desired solution of all!

See Me Under The Sun in Proenza Schouler's Sunnies!
Today, we revisit Spring/Summer 2009. Something I totally missed oh-so-unfortunately from that glorious season is Proenza Schouler’s funky sunglasses (USD $310.00). I like them, because the rounded frames add a quirky yet chic touch to any outfit, any look. The best thing of all, I find about them, is that they look great whether surfing in the Beach or cruising around the City.
Proenza Schouler’s sunglasses come in an envelope-style textured brown leather soft case with snap closure. Dust cloth included. Available at La Garçonne.

Dear Robert,
Please do not say I never consider for your welfare and that I only like to toy with your feelings and make your life miserable by parading Mathias you-know-who and loads of perfection in front of you. On the contrary of what you see on the surface, your happiness is indeed on the very top of my never-ending to-do list – just hidden deep down beneath me. Please accept this truck-load of images of Lucia as a token of my appreciation for your extreme effort on this blog.

Danish model Mathias Lauridsen in NK
When we talk about my favourite department stores, how could we not mention Nordiska Kompaniet (Swedish: The Nordic Company)? Well… I have never been to NK’s store in Gothenburg, but the one is Stockholm is enough to make me crazy every time I go there. I just love how they decorate the entire store – from the exterior to the very core of it. Everything is incredibly immaculate, like how it should be.

Smells like Luella: Frances and Bertha floral dresses from Luella
Ooo… Dear! Have you heard the terrible news? Luella has just lost a major investor. Singapore-based retail group Club21 has just left our favourite British label, consequently, forcing a halt in both public trading and production of its current collection [1]. Upon this, Ms. Bartley commented: “This is a very disappointing situation for everyone involved with the brand… I very much appreciate the support that VSQ has given me, but it is upsetting not to be able to protect jobs in this difficult economic climate.”

Rebecca, Gretel and Maggie dresses from Luella
Well… This is just shocking for all of us, because we just adore the quirky English fashion label! If you want to see the Spring/Summer 2010 line on the shelves, don’t hold back any longer, it’s definitely time to shop and show your support! One of the things I love the most about Luella is its party dresses. It doesn’t restrict the person who is wearing it, but rather, it lets your personality come out as well as guaranteeing infinite fun – something that is totally out of the question for a lot of high fashion brands. On sales now and on my must-buy list are the following dresses:
- Frances Floral Georgette dress, Ref: SS090085DRFGT0998, (£450.00 £225.00) – This beautiful relaxed fit pintuck dress with tiered skirt is perfect for the summer. The bow and ruffles give a very chic and gracious feel to this wardrobe staple.
- Bertha Floral Organza dress, Ref: SS090090DRFOR0998, (£695.00 £347.50).
- Rebecca Check Muslin dress in purple, Ref: SS090094DRCHM0696, (£365.00 £182.50) – This bodice dress is neat and elegant with a twist. Nipped in at the waist this piece has a beautifully delicate asymmetric ruching across the bust, giving it that something extra.
- Gretel Plain Organza dress in Lilac, Ref: SS090086DRORG0758, (£595.00 £297.50).
- Maggie Plain Organza dress in Blackberry (also available in pink and purple), Ref: SS090083DRORG2698, (£625.00 £312.50) – Worn with either one or two shoulder straps, this frill skirt prom dress has a neat asymmetric style. Another true example of Luella’s belief in modern eclectic British femininity.
All dresses available at Luella.com.
