Looking for the ultimate shirt to go side by side with the vivacious vacation season? Well… Look no further, for Fred Perry for Liberty’s collaborative Blank Canvas collection has arrived. Working its signature floral and paisley prints, which are respectively named “Edenham” and “Mark”; the collection of four pieces shows off the casual smart dress code in quintessential style. What I love the most is how it simply looks so uplifting in the eye. Like candy! Delicious, delightful and divine!

For the Love of Luella
Oh… Why oh why does life have to be so cruel? First, our wish of new stocks magically appearing at the Luella store is brutally slayed and now, the Luella website has ceased to operate entirely. Nonetheless, I’m just writing this post to remind everyone to stay positive because the Luella store in Elements is still open till the end of May 2010. This is surely the last chance to stock up on Ms. Bartley’s timelessly gorgeous and quintessentially unique and fun designs, which not only passes the test of time on style, wearability and durability, but also the stamp of approval on its terrific customer service, which you may not find elsewhere in Hong Kong. Don’t be overwhelmed by the relatively empty (or half-full) store, which only shows how popular it has been and is. Remember: the treasures are hidden deep beneath the ocean. For one thing, I hope I could find this exquisite pre-historic Sugden shirt at the surface of the store next time I make my routinary visit there. Of course, we gotta hurry! It’s a matter of timing and luck!
[Address: Shop no. 2084-5., Second Level at Elements, 1 Austin Road, West Kowloon, Hong Kong | Tel: (+852) 2196 8368 | Opening hours: 11:00-21:00]

All Hail McQueen

Magnificence from McQueen
Spring into Spring 2010 with a splash of colours in honour of the late Designer Alexander McQueen. The legendary Brit’s paint splash jeans ($570.00) are indisputably a unique piece that not only looks great, but also an inimitable keeper that speaks colourful tones of explicit individuality regardless of age and season. His bi-colour stripe cotton t-shirt ($315.00) is, similarly, fantastic with its masterful applications of painterly strokes in orange and blue - bringing the ferocious image of a lively wild tiger to mind.

Mighty McQueen Strikes Lane Crawford
If you have me on your twitter, you may already know that I am guilty of cleaning out the entire Luella store of last season stock, last last season stock and prehistoric stock; and am thereby, banned from shopping anywhere online and offline this month. However, I am glad to announce that my quota for February is still wide open. One item that I am eager to snatch off the rack as soon as it touches the shelf is Alexander McQueen’s exclusive collection for Lane Crawford – due to arrive on the very first of February (that’s just tomorrow!!!)!

Kiss Me All Over, Schumacher!
What says passion and love more strongly than… well… big fat kisses? It is no doubt that German designer Dorothée Schumacher used this very motif to convey her intense fervour for the fashion industry in order to celebrate the 20 glorious years she has served us. Available at My Theresa are her kisses-besieged collection for Spring/Summer 2010. Sophisticated, strong, feminine yet funky are words that come straight to mind when we see her collection. However, surely what makes us fall as total victim under her love spell is its absolutely unequivobly timelessly romantic style. Purely fantastic!
Presented in the picture above are Schumacher’s sleeveless silk top with contrast black shoulder strap (€269,00), boat-neck shirt (€119,00) and last but not least draped skirt (€298,00). All available at My Theresa.

Sculpt Me Jil Sander Style!
Corporate-wear should not be restrictive or boring in any way at all, rather it should build up character – as shown by influential style icons, like Carla and Michelle. One piece that shapes and sculpts that strength flawlessly is none other than Jil Sander’s Sculpture-Collar Shirt ($USD 595.00). The cotton shirt with its sculptured collar impeccably exhibits the minimalist fashion label’s signature sleek streamline style. Made in the shade of pure white, the tailored shirt speaks strongly of a distinct precision in style with a twisted flavour of a love for both the classics and the contemporary.
Available now from both Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus.

COS for men
In the latest catalog/lookbook from COS, Danish model Adrian Bosch shows us how it is to wear the understated minimalist Swedish fashion label. The entire collection, indeed, exudes that distinctive Scandinavian air – combining practicality and style - and injecting these characteristic elements into the charming collection, which we adore so much.

Colour the Stripes
For as long as I live, crisp white shirts have been a stable garment for men; but I guess every now and then, you just need something spicy.
