VPL's sexy and sporty underwear
With sportswear-inspired body conscious clothing in the spotlight this season, there’s no better time to show off your visible panty line. Perfect for this job is the underwear collection from New York based label VPL. Established by stylist Victoria Bartlett, VPL begs for differ in terms of their philosophy and concept of design by making underwear something no longer suitable to be hidden underneath, but rather, as the acronym of the label suggests, visible. When you see the designs, the reasons would become naturally evident. Obviously, it is stylish and sexy, but what’s more is that it brings out an idiosyncratically sunny and healthy altitude – that is evermore fresh and fascinating. So what are you waiting for? Show off your VPL proud and loud!
Shown in the picture above are VPL’s insertion bra (USD$95.00), Stripe B Bra in Coral (also available in Navy – USD $85.00) and Stripe B Undi in Navy (USD $75.00). Available at Barneys and La Garçonne.

3.1 Phillip Lim Initials Lingerie Spring 2010 Collection.
Earlier this February, we looked at 3.1 Phillip Lim’s Initials lookbook for Spring/Summer 2010 and drooled over its sugar-filled sexiness. Today, we meet the lovely lingerie collection once again in the vast spaces of the lavish Department store Lane Crawford. Whether seeing it on the doll, on the models in the press photos or alone as itself, the collection exudes youth and elegance with a sense of health and well-being. Sportswear has, no doubt, placed a hale and hearty dose of influence on the collection making us wanna forget all about our outerwear and just run out of the house in 3.1 Phillip Lim’s Initials lingerie.

Hortisei Herisson
Patrizia Pepe showcases a young, flirty and utterly sexy lingerie collection for fall/winter 2009. Working predominantly with diaphanous tulle mesh and a touch of lace trimmings, the collection shows off a gorgeous body under the light of its playful peek-a-boo effect. The seductive shades of black and fiery fuchsia red are the principal colours of the bold and beautiful collection. In addition to featuring exquisite intimate pieces, like the Helisa Hegel triangle bra; the collection brings out some practical, mono-coloured, sweatpants looks to keep us warm and stylish.

3.1 Phillip Lim Initials Lingerie Spring 2010 Collection.
Supporting the pillars of any outfit is… nothing but our bare skin wrapped in beautiful bras and pretty panties. Reading our minds out loud on that very private thought is the American designer Phillip Lim, who has fearlessly created his first underpinning loungewear and lingerie collection amidst the uncertain economic crisis. Already crowned the title of “the first thing you put on and the last thing you want to wear”, 3.1. Phillip Lim Initials’ collection bares all the underpinnings we expect and more. The debut collection features an utterly irresistible range of thin laser-cut scalloped tap pants, colour-blocked bralettes and comfy cropped tees in a heavenly cluster of colours: caramel, peach, sunshine yellow as well as the stronger and darker shade of violet and black. Celebrating the art of dressing has never been so alluring and accessible to us.

French model Morgane Dubled shows off Stella McCartney’s Lingerie Collection Fall/Winter 2009
Each season, I look at Stella McCartney’s lingerie collection and it has never let me down. Stella has definitely convinced me that wearing granny’s high-waisted underwear is actually cool. Although she has gradually moved on from grandma’s undies in terms of conceptual designs, her understated collections remain sensual and alluring.

Estonian model Olga Serova turns up the heat by playing the ultimate seductress showing off the most-wanted La Perla Black Label gear in the Italian brand’s Ad Campaign for 2009. The collection features a sizzling load of pieces, which plays along to the luxurious and fashionable lingerie label’s values and principles – original, authentic, edgy and always pushing the boundaries. For 2009, the look of the season carries different moods and vibes that are both surprising and intriguing: red light, night club, bowlerhat, lipstick, cabaret and money money. Serbian model Georgina Stojilkovic shows off Moschino's swimwear
With bloody freezing temperatures striking the majority of the Northern Hemisphere, I just find it absolutely refreshing to see Moschino’s easy breezy Swimwear and Lingerie collection. Presented by the drop dead gorgeous Serbian model Georgina Stojilkovic, the collection, which plays on different shades of blues, reflects a non-chalant chic that speaks highly of the light-hearted Mediterranean lifestyle. The result is a playful collection that is youthful in spirits and striking in presence.

Lara Stone and Anne Vyalitsyna show off Sonia Rykiel lingerie collection pour H&M
After seeing Sonia Rykiel’s line for H&M in person, I am feeling a little bit confused right now. Perhaps it is because as I stepped out the door at home, extremely excited to see the fresh new arrivals, my loving mum reminded me once again that a pair of panties of that quality could be made at $USD 1.00. Arrrrgh… Thanks, Mum!
Well… If I neglect mum’s advice, I think the prices of Sonia Rykiel’s line for H&M are reasonable, because afterall it is evidently cheaper than the real line. Nonetheless, it’s still not to my wallet’s taste, especially the headband and the oversized brooch with the playful Rykiel big bow at respectfully $USD 34.95 and $USD 24.95. As expected, the store was flooded with people today. They all snapped a monstrous chunk of sexy bras and panties intimately in their arm. The favourite amongst the crowd was understandably the design with the colourful Rykiel signature stripes. With the armful of goodies, the girls found themselves stuck in a hideous queue outside the changeroom. Only a few dared to spend and went home with a tiny little Sonia Rykiel pour H&M bag. Well… It seems like no one was willing to go completely nuts for it.
