Victoria Tuaz wears Peter Jensen Spring/Summer Ready-to-wear 2010 collection.
It’s not every day that I fall madly in love with a fashion label in a matter of micro seconds, but it certainly looks like this is such a shameless case today. Namely, Peter Jensen’s Spring/Summer Ready-to-wear 2010 collection is simply fantastic! Running high on the innovation factor, the Danish-born designer’s signature is his mischievous touch on each piece of the collection creating something slightly twisted, but always youthful and super refined.

An example of how a flawless Luella handbag appears to the eye
Dear my beloved Luella Handbag,
Oh Luella! Oh my Lovely Luella! Even though I don’t even know your name for sure, (because your tag has fallen out unexpectedly when I brought you home); that does not mean that I do not love you. In fact, my love for you is deeper than an ocean and more infinite than infinity. I was tremendously shocked today to find that your flawless self has become… defected! Oh, my Lovely! Tell me – your true and only love – why art thou scratched? I know my true-blue shabby hobo style, which includes a daily routine of wearing a worn-to-shreds Tee (Not By Alexander Wang), naturally faded-to-grey Ksubi jeans and vintage-looking not-vintage shoes, does not deserve a complimentary accessory like you, but that does not mean that you have to blend in with my ruggedness by destructing yourself to match my poor standards. I appreciate your almighty thoughtfulness and your overly-kind gesture, but really, if you want to be kind to me, please continue being cruel to me by maintaining your perfectly impeccable appearance. I would very much be grateful of you forever and ever.

Proenza Schouler’s red and purple fish print Jaquard Mini Sac
For Spring/Summer 2010, the designer duo Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough pushed the idea of playing with tie-dyes and motifs inspired by the big surf further than they did last season. The result is nothing disappointing at all, rather it yielded sparks and more divine magic! One item that we are dying for is Proenza Schouler’s red and purple fish print Jaquard Mini Sac (€ 805.00 VAT Included). We just love the ingenious print work with the colours arranged to form an abstract pattern that reminds us of the shell of a sweet little beetle. So hypnotic!

Luella Spring Summer 2009 Leather goods
It must have been fate. Just as I am craving for some Luella, Luella.com is holding a sales with all its spring/summer 2009 stocks and what am I waiting for? With such great prices, it’s time to shop! Before we conquer the territory of pretty frocks, let’s wander in the land of Leather goods for some amazing investment buys. At one point in my life, I did wonder if Luella’s love-heart infused collections are too young for me, but I guess, young does not necessarily equate to dumb infantiles. It could be a fresh and fun attitude to life and for me that’s what Luella’s collections are all about. In my shopping basket, you can find:
- Plaque Messenger in Navy Nubuck [1], Ref: SS09PL04HBNB1005TU, (£495.00 £247.50) – A good sized messenger bag with 1 zipped and 2 patch pockets inside. The exterior features a pocket with 2-way zip, top handles, detachable shoulder strap and gold plaque detail.
- Envelope Clutch in black patent leather, Ref: SS09EV01HBPL1002TU, (£315.00 £157.50) – This oversized clutch is neat and dainty with an internal card holder pocket and is secured with a hidden magnetic fastening under the Luella heart.
- Peony Clutch in Hot Pink Patent Leather, Ref: SS09PE04HBPL1015TU, (£450.00 £225.00) – A fabulous oversized clutch with 1 internal zipped pocket. The exterior features twist lock fastening, magnetic clasp secured sleeve to the rear, as well as detachable signature heart charms.

Graphic print cotton T-Shirt by Owen Plummer for Luella
@ Elements:
- The Hats off for Elements Exhibition by the lavish British headwear designer Philip Treacy is on show now till November 11, 2009. The most outstanding from the pack, for me, is definitely the flower hat, which Mr. Treacy created for Alexander McQueen’s Spring/Summer 2007 show. Other than that, I also liked the Andy Warhol tribute hat collection as well as the comfy couches made in the shape of pretty hats placed all around the shopping mall. It really made me feel like I was drowned in extravagant style.
- @ Luella: Sales staff was definitely most friendly out of all high fashion stores I have ever been to. It was not uptight at all. It was so unbelievably relaxed! Perhaps more so because she said she liked the looks of my boots (Voila! Welcome to Luella!) and we had a casual chat about shoes – a topic I can go on hours and hours. Nonetheless, I really love the pieces by Canadian illustrator Owen Plummer for Luella. Unfortunately, the bags are sold out but there are still a few statement T-Shirts left (also available at net-a-porter). The girls said the next collection would come in around mid January. So be sure to be there on time to snap up all the new stocks!
- @ Louis Vuitton: Louis Vuitton’s grand opening! The hour I was there, I did not see anyone wearing anything extraordinary. Strange! Maybe I was too early?

Lamella Bag from Kaviar Gauche
I am still not sure whether I like the Spring/Summer 2010 bridalware collection from the Berlin based fashion label Kaviar Gauche; but I sure do like the sight of their lovely Lamella bag. I love the special radiating lotus-leaflike structure. I find it rather delicate and I think it really stands out from the pack of traditional handbags. Presented in the picture above from left to right are Kaviar Gauche’s lamella bag made by calf leather (419-499 EUR depending on size) and mixed leather (450 EUR). All prices include 19% VAT.

Magnificence from Mrs H's Charming Collection
The new fall collection has just arrived at Mrs H and what do we find? Magnificene once again! The bags, in particular, are simply a must-buy! Get it, when it’s still hot and fresh from the style oven! I love it even more that Mrs. H has this new payment plan, which I can pay in installments. Ohhh… Mrs. H, you certainly can read minds!
