Cutting Edge Jil Sander
A cut above average is certainly how we have always seen Jil Sander. Taking that idiom literally, Creative Director Raf Simons has created a range of clean and clear cut shoes, which made us run around in circles like a chicken with its head cut off. The three pairs, which we particularly trip over for, are the cutout flats (USD$550.00), the cutout loafers with stunning scalloped edges (USD $595.00) and last but not least, the jagged edge flats (USD$465.00). Taking the classics and modernising them, these striking shoes with its incredibly innovative designs are extremely edgy yet exquisitely elegant. Well… Cut to the chase! How can we not fall madly in love with these cutting edge charms?

Ann Demeulemeester’s Pretty Prickly Predicament
Beautiful yet disturbing – Ann Demeulemeester’s epine black leather necklace (SEK 440,00) and leather thorn bracelet (SEK 1.676,00) are doomed to be worn and not wasted. Engraved with the Belgian designer’s signature style with a prickly motif, these pieces are dark yet mysteriously alluring. The bracelet, which is made of silver with a leather outer shell, is an easy piece to adapt to this season’s trendy looks for an indifferent touch in the small scale; while the necklace looks like a deadly thorn in our flesh. Well… The more fatal it looks in our face, the more we love it!

Helmut Lang's Lovely Lace Dress
There are times when I have told myself not to blog about black dresses anymore – no matter how short, how little, how cool and pretty they are. However, when I spotted Helmut Lang’s Puckered Lace Dress (USD$425.00), I just could not resist. I had to break this rule – immediately! With its romantic draping and delicate lace detailing, this fitted asymmetric dress is simply a unique party must-have. Graceful and gorgeous regardless of which angle you see it through.

Spring to life in Bruuns Bazaar's dresses.
As spring commences to go into full swing, it’s certainly time for us to pack away our big woolly winter knits and load our wardrobes with some fresh new springtastic clothes. Bruuns Bazaar, the Danish label established by brothers Teis and Bjørn Bruun, opened its first store in Asia last month. Christopher Kane is all dolled up!
Christopher Kane introduces another stunning T-shirt collection for Spring/Summer 2010. As oppose to the iconic gorilla Ts or the equally horrifying atomic T, the Glasgow-born designer surprisingly opts for a different direction this time around – something sweet as honey and just as mesmerizing as a magnet. Featured on his Tees is the hand drawn chubby little face of a cherubic angel, whose gorgeous face is so adorable that we just want to pinch. There is something remarkably special about this figure. Whether it is her glassy eyes, crown of fuzzy hair or her bow-shaped lips, she expresses a sense of sorrow in a poetic way. Magnificence from McQueen
Spring into Spring 2010 with a splash of colours in honour of the late Designer Alexander McQueen. The legendary Brit’s paint splash jeans ($570.00) are indisputably a unique piece that not only looks great, but also an inimitable keeper that speaks colourful tones of explicit individuality regardless of age and season.
