Looking for the ultimate shirt to go side by side with the vivacious vacation season? Well… Look no further, for Fred Perry for Liberty’s collaborative Blank Canvas collection has arrived. Working its signature floral and paisley prints, which are respectively named “Edenham” and “Mark”; the collection of four pieces shows off the casual smart dress code in quintessential style. What I love the most is how it simply looks so uplifting in the eye. Like candy! Delicious, delightful and divine!

Hellooo, Haider Ackermann!
Have you ever met a piece of clothing that makes you feel that you are born to wear it? Well… I think I have just found my ideal match: Haider Ackermann’s Cresta Waistcoat (€1379) is certainly an addictive piece that I would not want to take off once I put it on. Made in Italy, this fine waistcoat with its eccentric detailing speaks of an incredible style that is elegant and refined – yet it also has a purely punky Edge that is overwhelmingly tough and powerful.

Peter Jensen Spring/Summer Ready-to-wear 2010 collection
It’s not every day that I fall madly in love with a fashion label in a matter of micro seconds, but it certainly looks like this is such a shameless case today. Namely, Peter Jensen’s Spring/Summer Ready-to-wear 2010 collection is simply fantastic! Running high on the innovation factor, the Danish-born designer’s signature is his mischievous touch on each piece of the collection creating something slightly twisted, but always youthful and super refined.

Erdem’s Colour Vision
A collaboration between two amongst London’s sea of talents – the iconic eyewear label Cutler & Gross and the celebrated fashion label Erdem – resulted in something magnificent. With its colourful Kyoto watercolour-printed frame in classic sixties style, it looks like this edgy pair of Tomoko sunnies (£290.00) from the Spring/Summer 2010 collection is the perfect accessory to accompany me during the flamboyant season whether in the city of by the beach. Mmm… Fantastic!

Top Brass: The Lake & Stars’ Double in Brass
Are you ready? Out tomorrow (Monday, 10 May 2010) at Urban Outfitters is an exclusive lingerie collection from New York based label The Lake & Stars. The collaborative collection entitled “Double in Brass” features quite a lovely range by designer duo Maayan Zilberman and Nikki Dekker. Photographed by Tom Hines, the images of the lookbook show off the collection’s streamlined silhouette under an unbelievably fresh and youthful way. I, myself, certainly cannot wait to get my hands on those brilliant body suits. I wouldn’t be shy to wear those sweet bra tops as outerwear.

Day For Mother’s Day
Mother’s day is just around the corner and although I am still quite caught up with RAFW, forgetting my mighty marvelous mother shall not be on the agenda this year. Detected on the fashion radar is none other than this beautifully printed silk-chiffon blouse (USD$260) by Danish label DAY Birger et Mikkelsen. It seems like this sheer blouse is made especially for my beloved one. Namely, its delicate light brown and green paisley print exudes subtle femininity; while the dreamy pastel-blue shade gives off an ever so calming aura – hence, capturing two of her most charming qualities altogether. Well… Is this made in heaven or what?
Available at net-a-porter.
P.S. This gift comes in extra handy in times of emergency wardrobe raids.

Umit Benan Fall/Winter Ready-to-wear 2010 Lookbook
Fashion is falling fast for the fantastic menswear label Umit Benan. For Fall/Winter 2010/11, the Milan-based designer’s “Retired rockers” collection is receiving rave reviews and really – how could it not? Retired and still rocking it, the collection is not only every modern manly man’s dream, but also reflects what women find enticing in a man. Inspired by Cuban hedonism, the collection reveals that confident, tough and brutally honest attitude of a dare devil. It is slightly rough around the edges, but naturally refined and irresistible! Simply can’t wait to see it in stores!

A collaborative effort between one of Japan’s coolest menswear label Lad Musician and the infamous Japanese watchmaker Citizen Watch Co. resulted in something that resides inexplicably on the dark side – the dead watch (¥ 189,000). With its shiny silver dead serious face, there is surely no watch as wicked as this one over my dead body! Dead and alive, this dead soul complete with its stainless steel band is simply drop dead delicious to have!
