Dansk #21 Spring 2009: Liberty Ross

Just as I finished my last entry, I found that the newest Dansk issue is out. How exciting?

The theme of the issue is relax and features smoking hot images of the british model Liberty Ross on its cover as well as in its editorial pages. This marks Ms Ross’ longoverdue return to the modelling world and exhibits her versatility as a model as well as her timeless beauty amongst a wave of bland girls. Seen on the sensual images captured by the photographer Warwick Saint, Ms Ross is simply perfection!

Dansk #20 Winter 2008: Coco Rocha

When I saw it on the rack, I did not feel so much for it. No matter how ‘versatile’ she might be, Coco was not where my love is. I just did not seem to adore her or worship her the way that I do when it comes to other mmm… models (Wink! wink! Magda! Wink! Wink! Mathias!).

Dear Dansk Røde Kors

Dansk Rode Kors - Break the habit Campaign

Dansk Rode Kors - Break the habit Campaign featuring Denmarks top models: Mia Rosing and Gertrud Hegelund/Elite Cph; Eva Helene Skarvig, Lasse Pedersen and Eddie Klint/Unique; Jesper Lund and Mathias Lauridsen/Scoop Models; Pernille Møller and Stephan Haurholm/1st Option

Wowww… I am a bit late on this, as I understand you released these set of bags in October last year, but I only saw the advertisement in the latest issue of Dansk Magazine last weekend. Forgive me for my late response. Wowwww… How amazing? Honestly, what a great idea! Stylish, chic and for such a great cause! The combination is simply perfect. I am a sucker for that. Denmark is truly one of the most innovative countries with ever the most creative solutions. I do not think any other red cross organisation anywhere in the world have done anything similar of the same degree and effect as you has done. You are utterly unique and absolutely ahead of our times.

Shopping

The Trophies from the Victorious Trip

The Trophies from the Victorious Trip

The other day I was searching for a birthday present for my friend… and guess what happened? I ended up shopping for me. At the end of the night, I ended up with a total of:

  • four sweaters with approximately the same design. 2 in grey, 1 in black from Mango and 1 in white.
  • Italian Vogue August 2008 (Love this issue!)
  • Dansk Autumn 2008 issue (Ahhh…)
  • Mango Fall/Winter 2008 catalog (Mmm… Marina!).

Then, very slowly, this made me realise that my style is actually very simple and that I would go crazy if I ever go near the Sonia Rykiel boutique or the Jil Sander store, because as we all know Sonia is famously coined as the queen of sweaters and Jil Sander the queen of minimalism. Well… I will report on my trip to Sonia Rykiel and Jil Sander when the time comes…
