Russian model Matvey Lykov closes the Dior Homme show.
Growing older and older each day, I no longer strive to put all the models with first names starting with the letter M in my list of favourite models. Yet, out of the blue, somehow it just happened: introducing a new favourite of mine this February is the fabulous Russian model Matvey Lykov. Ever since the day I watched the in bed with Matvey Lykov video - tweeted to me by a little bird from modelhommes, I just could not forget his mighty loveliness. Obviously, by and large, he is very good looking, but what charmed us sharply right through and swept us off both our feet is the fact that he speaks three and a half languages – Russian, English, Spanish and a little bit of Italian. Obviously, we share something common there. Let’s exchange numbers, Matvey and please teach me Spanish!

Torn tee & cardigan print top by Inside Out
Ripped and torn could look utterly unbearable and heinously hideous, if not done correctly. Thank god we have Inside out! With its exquisite eye for quality and design, the 2007-born British label totally rocks high fashion’s lavish version of the derelict look. Designed by Central St. Martins Graduates James Woolfin and Yvette White, this long sleeved T-shirt (£165.00) is our pretty pick of the pack. We just love the exuberantly eccentric print, which features an incredible image of a torn tee and cardigan. It adds flair to the look and turns this simple garment into something genuinely fantastic that deserves to be bought and worn a.s.a.p.!

Danish model Mathias Lauridsen looking ever so charming in Gucci's gorgeous menswear collection.
Since I am a person of few words in real person and I know that I panic a lot when good things, bad things, anything happen to me, I have decided - rather than having a normal impromptu going-with-the-flow interview like most professional journalists, it is crucial for me to have a staged interview with Mathias (if I ever get the chance to meet him in person this life time), where I get the opportunity to interrogate him critically on all the questions in my life (except one). Here is a preview of how it’ll play out…
Y: Mathias! [Shrilling nervously in a high pitched voice] We are speechless… really! We had been dreaming about you ever since we saw that mesmerising picture of you for the Gucci pour homme II ad campaign, when we were young. Tell us please. How does it feel to be the man in so many girls’ dreams? Does it make you feel sick, paranoid or uneasy in any way at all?
M: …

Piercing eyes penetrate through our souls.
Even though the hottest ticket in town (a.k.a sales) is no longer valid at Lane Crawford, we are lured to step into the sweet-scented department store to discover the new season’s entrancing enticements up close and personal, while attempting to meet the ever so impeccable Ms. Sarah Rutson serendipitously and intimately for the trillionth time. The first and foremost origin of this forbidden temptation is none other than a sneak peek of the drop dead sexy Spring/Summer 2010 Ad campaign, entitled “The Portfolio”.

Topshop is tops!
Browsing through Topshop’s Designer collection, we spotted three terrific items, which we wanna grab right off our screen and wear it till it tears out.
If only we didn’t spend all our money on final sales…

3.1 Phillip Lim Initials Lingerie Spring 2010 Collection.
Earlier this February, we looked at 3.1 Phillip Lim’s Initials lookbook for Spring/Summer 2010 and drooled over its sugar-filled sexiness. Today, we meet the lovely lingerie collection once again in the vast spaces of the lavish Department store Lane Crawford. Whether seeing it on the doll, on the models in the press photos or alone as itself, the collection exudes youth and elegance with a sense of health and well-being. Sportswear has, no doubt, placed a hale and hearty dose of influence on the collection making us wanna forget all about our outerwear and just run out of the house in 3.1 Phillip Lim’s Initials lingerie.

Nils Lawton in Alexander McQueen Fall/Winter 2010/11
Reading Russian writer Alexander Pushkin’s historical novel The Captain’s Daughter, we found a folk song, which painfully introduces us to the reality of life discussed in today’s post. It goes:
“If you find one better than me, you will forget me;
if you find one worse than me, you will remember me.” [link]

German model Luca Gadjus is the mesmerising mermaidic beauty in Escada Sport Ad Campaign Spring/Summer 2010
Escada Sport’s compelling spring/summer campaign 2010 puts the charming collection, inspired by the wondrous waters, in an utterly irresistible position. Photographed by the magnificent Max von Gumppenberg, German model Luca Gadjus is the mesmerising siren from the depth of the sea singing her entrancing melodies through her hypnotic eyes to lure us into a shopping spree at the luxury fashion house. Well… Is there a reason not to? The collection, which focuses on fantastic colours and prints and an incredibly soft silhouette, is simply divine for cruise 2010 with its lavish yet remarkably relaxed look. Truly enchanting!

Elsa Sylvan and Lisanne de Jong wear Proenza Schouler Pre-fall 2010
A quick look at Proenza Schouler’s Fall/Winter 2010/11 show, the designer duo Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough’s effort for pre-fall 2010 made sense as a prelude to the stunning show, which turned the inferno of sexuality to a sizzling extreme.

Cheap Monday's Tamy Skirt
Never in my crazy dreams have I ever imagined that Seibu would one day become one of my favourite department stores to splurge. Well… Perhaps its the modest logo and/or the rather masculine company name. I am just not particularly addicted to it as much as some of the others extravagant shops in the market. Nevertheless, I guess what matters the most is what they stock, its quality and most importantly, the price.
Since sales have became a non-existent subject matter at most of my favourite stores at this time of the year, I had been sober… until strolling randomly on the streets, I found out that Seibu was still celebrating a merry time with final sales. As a result of this, I gained immediate strength and became a super vicious being knocking over some a couple of a few dating couples to grab all that pleases my eyes.
