While Yulya is on hiatus, I want to keep Blogyul warm with this incredible video. It’s years old and has less than 20 thousand hits so far. How is that possible? This is one of the coolest Stammy souvenirs ever!

Hellooo, Haider Ackermann!
Have you ever met a piece of clothing that makes you feel that you are born to wear it? Well… I think I have just found my ideal match: Haider Ackermann’s Cresta Waistcoat (€1379) is certainly an addictive piece that I would not want to take off once I put it on. Made in Italy, this fine waistcoat with its eccentric detailing speaks of an incredible style that is elegant and refined – yet it also has a purely punky Edge that is overwhelmingly tough and powerful.

Carmen Kass – Overexposed
Overexposed? That’s certainly the way that the Carmen Kass fan club would love to see the super idolised Estonian top model. Taking that term literally, photographer and editor in chief of Self Service Ezra Petronio has captured Ms. Kass through an indifferent light in this set of rather provocative photographs for the magazine’s Spring/Summer 2010 issue. Styled by the ingenious Suzanne Koller, the star of the editorial is seen dressed in the season’s hottest and rawest utilitarian pieces from Alexander Wang, A.P.C., Chloé, Céline, Balmain, Emilio Pucci to Hermès. Polaroids perfect!

Damir Doma Syndrome
I don’t believe anyone could survive the unbelievable summer heat without a fantastic pair of sandals. Dropping down from heaven are these Damir Doma gladiators. Woven through a half boot, this pair of must-haves speaks of a terrifically tough style, while keeping someone calm and cool. Made in Italy, these leather sandals are truly the ultimate buddy to complement any summer looks. Are you ready? Let’s stir up a summer storm with Damir Doma!

Peter Jensen Spring/Summer Ready-to-wear 2010 collection
It’s not every day that I fall madly in love with a fashion label in a matter of micro seconds, but it certainly looks like this is such a shameless case today. Namely, Peter Jensen’s Spring/Summer Ready-to-wear 2010 collection is simply fantastic! Running high on the innovation factor, the Danish-born designer’s signature is his mischievous touch on each piece of the collection creating something slightly twisted, but always youthful and super refined.

Less Than* Fall/Winter Ready-to-wear 2010/11 Tokyo
I remember the day when I went to the Less Than* showroom like it was yesterday. It was a fine but chilly day in March. As a result of JFW overload and unsuccessful adjustment to the weather, my brain was really frozen that day, so really, I wasn’t expecting much in particular. With a little bit of difficulty finding the venue, (because the entrance to the building was slightly hidden and that the exhibition moved from level 4 to level 5 or something like that), I made it to the showroom. Stepping into the exhibition space, one could really sense the immense creativity behind the work.
