I would like to nominate my favorite photographer of 2009. Her work was featured prominently in the Sisley lingerie campaign earlier this year. She was tagged once on Blogyul, and certainly made some other appearances here. In March, I highlighted her Numéro Novembre 2006 editorial with a post in the forums. Since then, I have affectionately named one of her photos, “Kitty Kass,” which I adopted as an emoticon on IM as well as an Easter Egg ornament for the Blogyul 404 page. She is one of the few photographers I consider to have a sought-after fashion portfolio, and her work now appears on the January 2010 cover of Vogue Germany. This distinction goes to Camilla Åkrans!
