Unlike most fashion shows, Stella McCartney’s Spring/Summer 2010 show is a joyous affair with stunning models beaming a bright big smile, as they walk down the sunny runway. Not only did we see the glorious return of Natalia Vodianova, the supernova, supermodel and supermum; but also the icy cold Muscovite Sasha Pivovarova dropping her scary “murdererova” trademark and adopting an adorable “bunnyrova” look on the runway. The result is in an infectious show, which brings a warm and delightful energy to the audience.

Ms. McCartney opened the show with some pure all white looks for spring/summer 2010, then, showed some fresh military looks in the tainted shade of coffee. Swimwear was not something that the CSM Graduate is most known for, however, this season’s daring cut and edgy style bring all eyes on her swimwear. Watch out for Russian model Yulia Kharlaponova in that sexy swimsuit!

This is certainly not the first season that the British designer worked lace in her collections. I like how she always works it to make it modern and fit for today – something that makes women truly want her collection. I especially love Freja in that sexy racy lace top in beige-nude, worn with a pair of shorts and an oversized power jacket. What was most surprising for me was to see this bohomian vibe return. A wave of pretty ruffles run wild at the finalé of the show. I just love the red hot Russian Anna Selezneva in that red hot number. That will definitely be a red-carpet favourite!

In all ways, Stella McCartney’s collection this season is once again super splendid – not only with the wonderful wardrobe, but also with the charming cast and the excellent execution! Stella is truly stellar!
