With such a strong statement, it is no doubt that the fantastic fall collection by the ingenious young couturier is to die for beyond anyone’s imagination.

Mr. Mabille said that for fall he tried to play with simple graphic shapes, so everything floats. However, even though the girl in sight is dressed in soft romantic layers flooded with the sweet scent of flowers, she is not such a girly-girl: but rather a strong and independent woman. With definitive tailoring, a sense of traditional class and elegance is maintained; but at the same time, the look emits a fresh breeze of fall 2009, as the whole look is assembled together immaculately in a novel new way.

The three looks that are simply unforgettable are: Jules Mordovets in a tailored white suit complete with a double breasted jacket and a fluffy lace neckline; Hanna Rundlöf in a simple asymmetric column dress in statuette grey; and Daria Strokus in a hooded jumper-style dress with kangaroo pockets – paired with embroidered lace leggings.

Not only do I love the clothes, but the casting. The show opened with Sensational Swede Hanna Rundlöf, followed by Kelli Lumi, Jules Mordovets, Angelika Kocheva, Samantha Rayner, a surprisingly blonde and always beautiful Daria Strokus as well as “older” veterans, like Yana Karpova, Morgane Dubléd and Madeleine Blomberg and the divine German Diana Gärtner.
Definitely an oh-so-haute show of the season!
