American model Jessica Miller in Max & Co.
To me, Jessica Miller is one of those girls who can put on a potato sack and still I would say: “WOW! She’s sooo… sexxxy!” So when the sassy former Calvin Klein Jeans model became the face of Max & Co’s “just me” campaign for fall/winter 2009/10, the temperatures just keep rising infinitely. Ohhh… Could somebody please stop that girl from doing further drastic damages to our beloved mother earth by intensifying global warming?

Canadian model Shalom Harlow in Joop!
Canadian models Shalom Harlow and Owen Steuart are the powerful faces for Joop!’s Fall/Winter 2008/09 ad campaign. This is a little strange for me, because with Shalom as the face, it just feels like a Tiffany & Co. ad. I am not saying that Tiffany & Co. owns Shalom, but only because she is such a notorious model for Tiffany & Co., who possesses a seemingly boundless budget and places their ads more internationally than Joop!.

Alexis Mabille Fall Winter Haute Couture 2009 Paris
“I wanted it to look loose and casual-fitting, so she can wear things with the attitude of pulling on a T-shirt” was the justification of Alexis Mabille’s show directly from the lips of the designer himself. With such a strong statement, it is no doubt that the fantastic fall collection by the ingenious young couturier is to die for beyond anyone’s imagination.

Kilian Kerner Spring Summer 2010
Upon first inspection, Kilian Kerner’s show with its all glittering glam rockness might seem like a Germanised replication of Gucci’s Frida Gianini’s mentality; but the show the young German designer put up last July during Berlin Fashion Week 2010 certainly exhibits his unique style and broadcasted that gilded vision all over the world to bring us Kerner’s drop of illuminance.

Lara Stone in Chanel Fitting Room Follies by Karl Lagerfeld
Watched Chanel’s Fitting Room Follies video by Karl Lagerfeld today. At first, I watched the video on Chanel’s News Page, but then, it kept closing each time I accidentally clicked somewhere outside the viewing window and I kept having to re-start the video, (some people just cannot keep still for 5 minutes, you know?), so I ended up watching the whole thing on youtube, even though the quality is a little fuzzy.

Anna Kuchkina For Schumacher Fall Winter 2009.10
