Not every dress has a pocket... this one certainly does not!
Whilst going through a certain security czech check point at a certain larger-than-life airport:
Man 1 says to me [in German]: “Please check your pockets for coins prior to proceeding through the gates.”
Man 2 replies [in German]: “But she is wearing a skirt!”

Glamorous Gucci Soldiers On Display At Galeries Lafayette in Berlin
Really liking Gucci’s Fall/Winter 2009/10 collection – even more so in real life! Every season, whether it is by Mr. Ford or Ms. Giannini, when I see their stock in the display window, it just moves me like a big surf. This season, it is fierce and glamorous! A combination I cannot say no to.
Gucci?
Yes, please!

Russian model Anne Vyalitsyna in Princess Tam Tam Lingerie/Homewear S/S 2009
I really like the colours in the lookbook images – it is fresh and seductive – two ingredients that we need for spring/summer’s sizzling formula. The Russian model Anne Vyalitsyna is also a great choice, because she is beautiful naturally and has a great healthy body (not sickly skinny at all) to naturally show off a collection that places its focus on nature with all its vibrant colours and abstract floral prints.

Charlotte di Calypso in a Limited Edition Collection by Zuhair Murad for Mango - Summer 2009
Really like these elegant dresses by Zuhair Murad. It is so soft and feminine. But wait! Feminine does not equate weak, as this editorial proves how tough these heavenly angelic dresses could be! Absolutely drop dead gorgeous!

What Yulya X would roughly look like in a crowd if she stands next to Carmen Kass
A few nights ago, I had a dream. Since it involves two key fashion people in my life – Robert a.k.a DJ Miqrogroove and Carmen a.k.a. Ms. Cat – I decided to blog it, even though it probably is a very ordinary fanatic fan dream.
In my dream, Rusya, Robert and I were sightseeing around somewhere that looks like the Golden Gate Bridge.
After a relatively lengthy climb to reach the insignificant slope “mountainous” slope with much difficulty admirable sportsmanship and perseverence, we were so happy to have finally reached the mid section of the bridge.
As we were trying to retrieve our breathe, the crowd on the bridge cleared up simultaneously and out of the mist, stood who else but our heroine – the statesque Pirelli Kass?
Although we would all have loved to share and exchange intelligence with the avid chess-playing Estonian model, we were intimidated and immobilised by how catty Ms. Cat appeared and were forced to leave her alone, as her razor sharp expressions told us to [1].
As I stole a glance at her, while walking past that unmistakable 5′11 frame, Robert grabbed the magnificent moment and snapped a shot of us in the same frame while pretending to be taking a shot of the bridge. Is that not sweet?
But as Robert suggested when I shared this dream with him, is it not better to make a Carmen sandwich? Mmm…
I will dream harder next time for sure!
Endnote:
[1] I have not met Carmen Kass nor have I ever had any contact with her ever. So my point of view is purely out of my own imagination.

Joop lookbook
Before I came to Germany, I have never ever taken notice of Joop! – the German label, which focuses on modern timelesss classics; but now that I have three whole catalogs/lookbooks in my hand, I am totally in love with the label. I cannot see anyone else on the market who can do monogram or conspicuously put a logo on something without irritating me and Joop! can, because Joop! does it so subduedly. I am hoping to get some jewellery from Joop! of course!

@ Burberry @ Galeries Lafayette: A delectable range of coats from Burberry at Galeries Lafayette in Berlin Mitte, in particular spotted a real nice black shiny coat made with wool, silk and polyester. So stunning!
@ Zara: sunnies @ 19.95 euros each? Cheap?
@ H&M: two pairs of stockings for 5 euros. Cheap?

Comptoir des Cotonniers
Actually, I am not sure about the history and the essence of this brand, because I have not done any research yet – but I think it is about youthful, easy chic with a personality. Their target audience looks like Max & Co customers, but I think their audience are also hipper than Max & Co, who is more on the luxury elegance side. I could imagine japanese girls, Spanish girls, Italian girls, New York girls and etc. being photographed by street photographers when wearing Comptoir des Cotonniers.
At the moment, I cannot decide whether I like this French label yet or not, because it still does not have a strong persona or voice in my head. Well… Only time will tell…

Lily Donaldson is the Face of Joop!
I know Lily’s fans are just going to hate me, but I have to say it: I hate it! I hate it! I just hate it! This season’s faces (Lily Donaldson and Sean O’pry) with all their respective mega status and perfect looks just turn me off. There is nothing I hate more than looking at over-the-top beautiful people. Thank god, they only have 4 images in the lookbook – all of the rest are glorious runway images. Juhu!
