How many reasons are there for me to love Russia – the vast country with vast resources, which stretches from the far east to the far west? Not only does the country yield one of the most gorgeous looking human beings, it also has one of the most good looking ex-President/Prime Minister in the world! Mmm…
The best treasure of all this month has to be Vogue Russia – one of the best fashion magazines in the world!

Magdalena Frackowiak wearing swimwear from the Spring Summer Couture Collection by Jean Paul Gaultier
For May, editor-in-chief Aliona Doletskaya gives us the fierce model Magdalena Frackowiak dressed in this season’s best swimwear to thrill and to kill. The alluring cover celebrates Russia’s unique identity not only with the use of Russia’s national colours – white, blue and red; but also the iconic 1920’s styling, which evidently brings out a touch of constructivism and social realism. The Lolita-like Polish model naturally becomes the ultimate face to emit this sort of enery, in particular this sort of strict sexual tension, that silently screams: “Come and join the Navy!”
In Addition, all you Carmen Kass fans out there, watch out! Because Carmen, who shared a cover with Lenny Kravitz just last month, is also in this month’s Vogue Russia. Photographed by Matt Irwin, Carmen is wearing her own Maria Ficalora sweater, says womensmanagement blog.
What is more, the text on the cover tells us:
