Some of you might have wondered why I had been posting so little recently. It is because I had some visitors with me and was busy with the treats they gave me. What a moment of indulgence? Here is food for your thought:

Mmm... Sorini Sorinette Creme.

Dutch model Bette Franke in Max&Co. Spring/Summer 2009 catalogue
Max&Co is not exactly a house, which changes drastically each season nor is it a house, which arouses attention the way that a Hollywood bombshell does. Regardless of the present dramatic economic, social and environmental changes, it always retains an ease and calmness to it. For that reason, I always thought of it as clothes that grows independently in a secret garden amidst a jungle of utterly wild clothes. Ultimately, it is not at all out of touch, but more on the lines of being made for an escape artists who is multifaceted and creative not only through her work but also with her clothes – the exhibition of a sort of independence and non-comformance in order to be a true individual.
Evidently, everything is natural at Max&Co. There is a breathe of life, which surfaces every season: a sort of awakening from a long-hauled hybernation. This brings about an undeniable freshness that is uniquely Max&Co.

Celine spring catalog 2009.
The spring catalogue for Céline features an assortment of delicious shades which are simply perfect for the season: splashes of ocean blue, soft hues of candy pink, lush moss green, sunshine yellow and much more. This complete rainbow-like collection has the power to inject youthful energy as well as a brilliant vivacity into any dull lifeless wardrobe.
The shades alone cannot make an outfit amazing. Whatsmore about this collection is Croatian designer Ivana Omazić’s delicate designs. The look is very simple; yet, it is very sophisticated and jam-packed with sensuality created by the delicate shapes and the intimate flow of the outfits cut with precision around each curve of a woman’s body. Utterly, it is minimalism at its best.

What's going on at Céline?
Phoebe Philo, reportedly the “prodigal daughter of fashion” who brought sweetness and youth to the French fashion house of Chloé, is set to return back to the fashion scene as creative designer of Céline with her first collection for the French label to be shown in October this year. It seems like the entire fashion world has already opened a shipping container worth of Moët & Chandon champagne in honour of this celebrated homecoming, but me…

Dear the team at Celine,

Yulya's shoes from Zara worth 99SEK.
Please reply my prayer, as confessed in the letter posted in the last entry (click here), I do urgently want to see both the catalog in actual print and the shoes! You can see in the picture above that my shoes are no longer in good wearable shape. So sending your shoes to me along with the catalog will be a great bribery strategy compensation for my lost of time loving gesture from you. I beg you. Please! Please! Please!
Looking forward to your reply and those wonderful shoes.
Yours faithfully,
-your devotee-

Dear Ms. Verneuilli Verneuil [1],

Estonian Top Model Carmen Kass in the cruise catalog for Celine
I have sent my cruise catalog request 2 months ago and have heard no word from you yet. Did you mean to reply my email with something of the like of the letter below?
Dear customer,
We sincerely regret to inform you that we no longer produce/send [circle as appropriate] printed catalogs. As an environmentally conscious firm, catalogs are distributed on the global scale and may be viewed online (click here). Please take the attached pair of must-have shoes from this season, designed by our creative designer Ivana Omazić, as a token of my sincere apology. Your support in the future is much appreciated.
Sincerely yours,
Celine
If that is not the case, please send me a sign.
Yours,
Fan + potential customer
Note [1]: Spelling corrected thanks to Robert’s comment.
